ONCE UPON A TIME [ 1998 ]

This series of stories was written by means of two rules: (1) use all the random phrases and/or words given to me (highlighted in yellow). (2) Begin every story with "Once upon a time" - which isn't really a rule because it's too easy. It was a fun challenge to creatively think of ways to incorporate various words into a single story. The key to writting these stories, I found, was to just write. Then, when I felt that things were getting dry, take a sudden random twist and see where that leads. Also, a fair portion of the jokes were inside jokes - some of which I don't even remember now.

Most of these stories contain a strong underlying theme which refers to the individual (who I care not to mention) for whom these stories were originally written - that is not why these stories are here. .
